THE FUN HOUSE August 15

So, with the Amazing Race gone, the next FNC is the Fun House, which should be..... fun.

We're going to head down to a place called Rare Bears Play Centre. I know it sounds cheesy but i actually went and took a look and it is an awesome place (much better than the last one we went to!) This place has a big jumping castle, a massive air filled slide, a three storey mazey-type-thing (with a timer for time trials) and lots more that i'm finding hard to describe... but its good.

To come along, you'll need a permission slip and a medical form (if you haven't filled one out in 2008 already)

EBC's AMAZING RACE July 18

Last month's Cheese was a blast, where at our very own cinema- Yoyts, we watched Evan Almighty and... maybe even more importantly... consumed lots of pizza! (definately a staple youth group food)

This month is the long awaited "Amazing Race" (like the TV show... sort of). After dividing into teams you will race the clock to complete a series of team challenges, and contend for the ultimate prize...

A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES June 20

So did you guys enjoy roller city? I gotta give a special mention to Joel and Caity who were basically pros by the end of the night. The real Mystery Journey will happen when day light saving returns! (as it happens, it didn't rain anyway)

For some unknown reason, we put the outdoor cinema right in the middle of Winter! What were we thinking?! So we're going to have a warm 'night in' at the Bolt. We'll have an indoor cinema (the best kind of cineama), a bunch of games (yes, ryan, i'm sure there will be killer uno), and just enjoy hanging out.

We'll meet at 7.00pm at the Bolt (4/266 Bolton St, Eltham...near Beach House Gym)
Bring a bean bag or something, if you want.
Bring $3 for pizza and drinks

THE MYSTERY JOURNEY May 16

CHANGE OF PLANS!!

The next FNC was going to be the Mystery Bus Trip but that proved WAY too expensive. So now, it’s better than ever with… The Mystery Journey!

We'll meet at Eltham Station jump on a train and travel to an undisclosed location for some fun, and then finish up at Paul and Rach's house in Diamond Creek for pancakes (mmm…pancakes) Sounds... mysterious, huh?

So, it’s Friday May 16
6.15pm sharp Eltham Station (dont get left behind)
11pm pick up from Paul and Rach's at 14 The Parkway, Diamond Creek
Cost:$15

A Permission Slip is a must, as is the annual Medical Form (only if you havent filled one out in 2008)

Bring your mates and wear some warm clothes too, just in case...

UNDERGROUND CHURCH april 18

So, heres the details of this FNC. We'll be meeting at Wycliffe at 6:30. Its at 70 Graham Rd in Kangaroo Ground (gate 3). And we'll be finishing up at 9:00. Invite some mates and don't forget to bring a torch too!

"Underground Church" April 18

So, the first official FNC for the year will be happening on April 18... just after the holidays! "But what the heck is underground church?!", I hear you say. Well its not a church service in Coober Pedy if thats what you're thinking (lame joke).

Nah, underground church is what they call secret churches in other countries. In places like China for example, churches have to meet secretly or else they'll be arrested. Arrested for going to church!

So, Dan Hunt introduced us to this game based on that concept... I'm not going to explain it now but I will tell you that it sounds great! Come along, it should be great! (more dtails soon)
